Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ToolBox ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Description of Service

ToolBox provides free online tools for various tasks including but not limited to:

• PDF manipulation (merge, split, rotate, optimize)
• Image processing (resize, compress, convert)
• Text and data conversion
• Developer utilities
• Encoding and decoding tools

Most tools run entirely in your browser. Your files are processed locally and are not uploaded to our servers.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems to access the Service excessively
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

User Accounts

Account creation is optional. If you create an account:

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Free and Pro Tiers

Free Tier

• Access to all tools with daily usage limits
• 15 MB file size limit
• Ad-supported experience
• No guaranteed uptime or support

Pro Tier

• Unlimited usage
• 150 MB file size limit
• Ad-free experience
• Priority email support

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time and will retain access until the end of your billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Intellectual Property

Our Content: The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by ToolBox and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

Your Content: You retain all rights to files you process using our tools. Since processing happens in your browser, we never have access to or claim any rights over your content.

Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• That defects will be corrected
• That the Service will meet your specific requirements
• The accuracy or reliability of any results

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice.

Limitation of Liability

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ToolBox and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you have a Pro subscription, you may be entitled to a prorated refund at our discretion.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
